At Accessible Ventures Transportation of St.Maarten N.V (AVTS), established in 2005, we operate with a deep-rooted commitment to the community of St. Maarten, ensuring that mobility limitations never stand in the way of accessing necessary services and enjoying every aspect of island life.
Founded by Louis Jeffers, who was inspired by his personal experiences and a deep sense of empathy, AVTS aims to provide exceptional transportation solutions for those with mobility needs. Growing up as the only boy in a family where his mother was a double amputee, Louis often found himself responsible for her mobility.
This challenging role fostered a strong sense of empathy and commitment to aiding those with similar needs, which became the catalyst for launching AVTS.
